We raise our emus in a loving,natural,stress free,humane atmosphere. They have plenty of space to run and roam. The emus are raised organically, and receive no hormones,streoids,antibiotics or medications of any kind. We started this farm in 2009 mainly for the sale of emu chicks, emu meat , emu oil. By nature Emu birds require rural areas for better mating percentages. Hence we are encouraging the village farmers to setup these farms. We offer Emu bird derivatives that are available in form of Oil, Meat, Hide, Feather, Empty eggshells, Toe nails and others. An important derivative of Emu is the oil extracted that is mainly used in skin ointments and also for various cosmetic products. As per recent research, it also shows that oil serves as excellent medicine for arthritis and is used as a pain killer.

Benefits of Emu Farming

The bird can be reared in paddock alongwith sheep, goat and cattle. The birds need no dipping, drenching, milking and shearing. The adaptability of the bird is equally high on annual and perennial pastures or scrub. The bird can be reared both in hot and freezing temperatures.(0 to 56 centigrade) The bird has shown high sustainability in irrigated as well as rainfed farming environments. There is virtually no waste products in the bird. The size of the farm is not a limiting factor. The added value segments all along the products is very high. Low capital investments for setting up of the farms. The markets for meat,oil,feathers,leather and eggs are easily accessible.
